An open mind, like an open window should be screened to keep the bugs out - Virgina Hutchison
Based at Old Hall School on the Wrekin College Campus, TOGY has been up and running for the last 12 years. We were created to form a creative partnership between young people looking to build a career in the arts and theatre/screen practitioners looking to pass on the skills they had learnt. More than any other school, we believe in a fully rounded performance education, and that pupils should be well versed in the theoretical aswell as practical side of 'the business'.
In the arts there is no 'right way' or 'right style', so TOGY works with a variety of staff from different professional backgrounds to encourage the students to form their own professional opinions . From choreographers, writers, directors, actors, opera singers, musical theatre performers, fight technicians, filmmakers and dancers althought our staff have a variety of backgrounds, all are professionally trained, all are CRB checked and all have many years of work in the industry.
